Growing in Faith
As a Christian community, we regularly gather to pray, study, and support one another in our Christian journey.
WorshipWe gather to worship God together on Sundays at 10.45am. Worried about whether you’re welcome or what to wear? Wear clothes. Be you. You’re welcome here.
PrayWe offer a Monday morning email each week at 9am with something to pray about. You’re welcome to be part of that—just let us know.
We also gather monthly for a Drop-in Taizé Worship, typically on the third Tuesday of the month during university term time, from 5.30 - 6.30pm. You may come for the whole hour or just a few minutes. There’s no preacher, no prescribed words you need to say, and you may join in the chants or let it surround you.
There are other opportunities to pray together throughout the year.
Growing in DiscipleshipWe regularly hold studies on the Bible or faith-based books to help us deepen our faith. These typically run in the spring, summer, and autumn for about six weeks at a time. Check the calendar for what might be happening or coming up.
As part of a group of four United Reformed Churches in Newcastle, as well as ecumenical relationships, we typically participate in prayer, mission, and study with churches across the city.
