Creating God, your name is written on every leaf, every bird, every river, every stone, every living being.

We praise and worship you for the magnificence of your creation.

Make us attentive to the wounds of the earth and willing to work for the healing of the whole creation, through Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Lord. Amen.

Eco Church

The church has achieved the Bronze Eco Church Award from A Rocha UK. This award covers all the areas of church life: Worship and Teaching, Buildings and Energy, Land and Nature, Community and Global Engagement, and Lifestyle.

This is a significant step along the road to increasing the church's green developments, and, having moved both our electricity and gas supplies to 100% renewable energy, we are now looking at further ways to make our buildings and activities more environmentally friendly. This is not without its challenges given the age and physical nature of the buildings, but we are determined to do as much as we can in this important area.
