Our main weekly service is 10:45am on Sunday mornings.
Fellowship at Jesmond URC means:
Jesmond URC is accessible by Metro, bus, or on foot, from Newcastle city centre. The church and our rooms are fully accessible for wheelchairs (click here for a Google map).
The congregation is involved in its local community through links to local care homes, schools and businesses, food banks and other charities. We run a regular Repair Café and share with the community the delights of Haldane House Community Wildlife Garden, a sheltered oasis perfect for reflection or just for enjoying the sunshine. We run occasional Quiet Days and other events to which the local community is warmly invited.
The church is also a well-known venue for concerts of all kinds, and our various rooms are usually busy with activities ranging from yoga to children’s groups, and rehearsals of local choirs and orchestras. Further details of services and activities are to be found on this website.
Come and join us! We offer a warm welcome to everyone who would like to join us for our Sunday worship at 10.45am.
