Maunday Thursday – time for quiet reflection in #Jesmond

We are trying something new this year; after a simple Communion Service in church at 7.00pm, we will close with a hymn and then walk round to the Community Garden at approximately 7.30pm where we will enter into the story of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane through readings and times of quiet reflection. This will last no more than half an hour. All are welcome

If you are coming, it would be helpful if you could bring a lantern of some sort with you – helpful, but not obligatory!

In the event of a bit of gentle rain, we’ll still go into the garden; in the event of heavy rain, our reflection will take place in the Bede Room.

If you can only come to one part of the evening (Communion Service or Garden), please do so.
